Well guess what today is?

Well it's that time of year again!! Time for hockey to Officially start today and the Red Wings have a lot of new faces and some come-backs on the roster. It will be an interesting year indeed and hopefully a fruitful one too! BACK TO THE CUP!!! Funny thing about this image-- Chris Chelios-on the left side- is not playing hockey at all right now and is no longer with the Wings. Bummer in a way but his leaving made cap room for some much needed younger blood. I think the other image is Hasek and he is also retired. It was an old image, what can I say?

WooHoo! Can't wait for the puck to drop! This is the first year I joined a fantasy league on ESPN so it adds even more fun to the season.

My Wild are like a new team this year. New coach and a few new players. It will be exciting to see what kind of a team they will be. In the past they were all about defence. The new coach is more offence minded so the new play style will be fun to see!

Anyhoo... yeah, I'm happy the season has started again! W00t!!

Unfortunately, my team lost their opening regular season game on Thursday... vs. the most eveil team in the league (Calgary). :p

And... Vancouver just lost again today vs. Colorado. Damn.

I'm nervous about our defense... they are looking shakey at the moment.

We lost our opener too. First opening lose in 5 years....oh well we never made it to the cup with a loss in the opening game....so I'm taking this to be a good omen! (not that we have ever made it to the cup yet...but hey, it's sounds good........there is a whole lot of games to play yet!
