Giving up

Posted on 2007-Sep-22 at 12:45 in A day in the life..
Well, I am about to give up from dispair. I cannot spend countless hours ONCE again making my blog feel like home and everyone is busy helping others so I am just giving up for now. I had a header, now I have none and have no idea why.

I cannot seem to fix the code because I can't see what is wrong with it. Always been my downfall. That is why I have other coders check my stuff for me.

Well forget it for now. If I feel like it later maybe I will tackle it but for now I need to work on paying web sites, not my worthless blog.

If anyone stops by that cares to help please message me or e-mail me at indigomoonarts@yahoo.com.

For now I am fed UP.

See yas

Fed Up

Hello Jana. How is it going? Apparently not too good. I got one up and my wife got her blog up here too. We will probably keep them but we still have more to do. I don't know much but I might be able to help if I know the answers.

All the peoples who are really dextrous with the coding work (definitely not including me) are busy as beavers right now during this first week. But that will slow down, and then you can get someone to lend a hand.

If you got to the help area, that "templates and variables guide" looks like it could be a lot of help.

But yeah, I saw your old logo a day or two ago, and now it's not there. What's up with that, anyhow?

Don't get discouraged. And don't feel rushed. You can get it done in your own time. Unluckily, this happened when you are really busy with other stuff.

Hey there

Hope you have a relaxing weekend! I can relate to the frustration of this stuff... I feel it myself sometimes... which is bizarre, considering this is just a silly blogoshpere. :p

If you get really stuck, you might be interested to look here: http://www.pannasmontata-templates.n...tes-01-10/

I got frustrated trying to code my own layout, and so Googled around and found that place... there are 2 dozen Bloghoster templates free to download, use, edit, etc... the creator just asks that the credits incorporated in the design not be removed... and they (the credits) are very innocuous.

THe templates are pretty sweet. I downloaded one (it's a text file... you just copy-paste the code into your blog template, replacing everything you had in there)... and then edited from there... changing the graphics to my own, changing colours, etc.

I'm almost completely happy with my design now. LOL

Only issue I've found with the template I downloaded is that it was missing the coding for some extra pages (Comment-adding page, Profile page, Friend Page)... but they are pretty simple to add back in... the only one I struggled with was the friend page, but I got it figured and could help if you decide to go that way.

ANyway.... don't despair. :p It'll all come together.
